History of EURO bills

Euro banknotes, introduced in 2002, are issued by the European Central Bank (ECB) and come in various denominations: €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200, and €500. Each note varies in color, size, and design features to make them easily identifiable. The current series, known as “Europa,” incorporates sophisticated security features to prevent counterfeiting and ensure authenticity.
